Franschhoek
Franschhoek has become known as the food and wine capital of the Country. Franschhoek has over 70 restaurants of which 8 are in the top 100 restaurants in South Africa. There are 37 wine cellars of which twelve have restaurants attached to them.
Franschhoek lies on the banks of the Berg River against a backdrop of the towering Franschhoek and Drakenstein Mountains. Its charming main street is lined with shops and galleries providing a choice of antiques, arts and crafts.
Franschhoek restaurants have become synonymous with great food, superb local wines and exceptional value. As a result, during the peak-season months (November to March), many restaurants are fully booked, making it is very advisable to book well in advance, to avoid disappointment.
Accommodation
Exclusive guesthouse accommodation situated in the heart of the village, offering luxurious accommodation and personal service. Located within easy walking distance of the main road, where most of the restaurants and shops are situated.

- Each room is individually furnished with an eclectic mix of antique and tasteful modern pieces.

- One room features a wood-burning fire, for which wood is provided.
- For the winter months, under-floor heating will keep you warm and cosy.
- Two of our rooms each have a small, but totally private courtyard, leading directly from the room. The other two rooms are slightly larger but have no courtyard.
